Broadcasting on 87.9FM with a distinctly Christmas air, it all kicks off in style from 6am on the Saturday morning, then at 09.00 there is a roadshow outside the Civic Centre in Whitchurch, where you can meet some of the presenters, air your views, and leave requests for music and dedications.

We have a wide variety of shows planned throughout the broadcast, with a mix of chat, debate, features and - of course - music, so whether you want to kickstart your day with the lively breakfast show from Kev B or put your feet up in the evenings with Alan White, you're bound to find something you'll enjoy.

Maggie White, Press Officer for the radio station, commented "There will be outside broadcasts from around the town, with many of the presenters interviewing not only the businesses of Whitchurch but also the residents. The radio station is run purely by volunteers and now has more than 20 presenters as well as six technical staff. With the broadcast running for nine days from the 8th to the 16th December, it will require a tremendous effort from all of our volunteers to ensure that Whitchurch receives a first-class broadcast."

Throughout the broadcast they will be out and about around Whitchurch, talking to members of the community and investigating the issues that are important to the town. The aim of the broadcast is to bring the community together through the interactive medium of radio and the station hopes to provide a platform where the issues in the town can be discussed.
